Hello and Happy 2008 everyone! It's happened again! We've plowed head first into another January - a little bit dazed, but with much excitement and anticipation for the year to come. I have to keep pinching myself when I think back on the last 6 months and the amazing time we've had bringing this new CD to you, sharing shows with great friends - new and old - and trying out some new venues. Our hearts are so full of gratitude and there isn't enough room here, so I'll be elaborating a bit more on the Cappsule, in the very near future, if you're so inclined.
LATEST NEWS:
We're really proud to report that "In This Town" made it on a couple of pretty cool "best of" lists, including the Folk DJs' top songs (#38 out of 200), artists and albums of the year; WVPE in Elkhart IN "The Back Porch Best Albums Of 2007", A3radio's Folk it! show honored us with Song, Artist and Album of the year and Maggie Ferguson of WXOU's Old Front Porch program gave us a "very honorable mention".
Rod and I are also honored to appear on "Authentic Voice" a compilation CD produced by Kari Estrin, coming out next month. It will be available in VERY limited quantities on cdbaby.com and features us and 14 amazing artists who have worked with her over the past year. Visit her website to find out more.
The year ahead promises to be one of more travel to new cities, new venues and new faces. Plus, we're committed to putting out our 6th CD of original music before the year is out!
